Well last night I got to babysit Lily all by myself while Wendy and Doug went out to eat. I had plannned on having a dance party with Lily, but she seemed to be more interested in sleeping and screaming.
We started off good, Lily was sound asleep on my shoulder, but then I had the great idea to move Lily to my lap, and she was not so happy with that! So, I immediately put her back on my shoulder. Other than that little episode (and just a few other ones!) we did good! She really likes to look at her mobile in her crib. I have to say it is quite cool and I was even entranced/entertained by it for a little while. She was so relaxed while she was staring at it she let me try on multilple outfits on her. She is growing so fast she already has clothes that she can not wear. Wendy even mentioned that we might need to buy her some new ones. So of course, my Mom and I have made plans to go shopping today!
When Wendy and Doug came home it was time for Lily's bath. Wendy bathes Lily in front of the fireplace, I have a sneaking suspision that Lily is going to be very disappointed when she realizes this is not how you normally bathe.
P.S. It is true, I should I be a spokesperson for Murano's (my old car aka Vomit Comit)! Wendy went to take her car in to have the oil changed and ended up driving off the lot with a Murano. The saleslady kept saying to Wendy "you would be surprised at how much stuff you can fit in the back of this thing!" which Wendy replied, "No, you would be surprised at what we HAVE fit in the back of ones of these!" It is true, it is quite surprising at all the things that I was able to get in my Murano - a china hutch, patio furniture ( I am talking a whole set - love seat, 2 chairs, rug, and side tables), recliner, and a whole bunch of other stuff!!!
Have a great weekend!

Sounds like a great night in with lil Lily. I can't believe she let you put all those outfits on her! Congrats on the new vehicle, Katie. How exciting - although I foresee you getting back together with a Murano someday!!
