Well, as most of you know Seth and I are very blessed to have a super sweet dog. Although, he does have one little side effect, he eats everything!!! So, I thought I would list out the craziest things that he has eaten! I must mention that Jet is a rescue German Short Haired Pointer and absolutely the most nervous dog ever.
1. High heel shoe - we have yet to recover the heel part. I can only assume we will be seeing it in the next 5 years (is it like gum?). This was Jet's way of saying he was not happy about me moving in after Seth and I got married. For weeks he would only destroy my stuff!
2. The window sills. This was particularly funny! Jet had his best bud Piper over and we like to think that Piper made him do it. So, if you are ever at our house just take a look in the breakfast room and you will see where Jet left his mark - on not one, but three window sills.
3. A bag of concrete mortar. This was in the garage where we kept the cutie for the first couple of weeks. We came home one day and found little paw prints all over the garage and then we found Jet with a pretty bloated tummy! Don't worry I called the vet. FYI, he also ate the door jam that day and the laser level for the garage door.
4. My brand new eyeglasses! As many of you know I am pretty blind without my glasses, so this was not very funny at the time! I had to wear mangled glasses for 2 weeks until my new ones came in. Special!
5. Foaming pepper spray. Yes, you read that right! Just the other night we came home and found my pepper spray on the floor with no nozzle. So we can only assume he ate a little. He seems fine, aside from a little hacking.
Well, I will keep you posted on other 'treats' that Jet ingests!
Sorry, I haven't blogged in a while!!!

Maggie can give him a run for his money. She's eaten about 6 dog beds and our patio furniture, metal sprinklers, more socks than I can count (although she seems to have tired of those), and most of the dog toys we've bought her. We have a few left that even she couldn't eat because we finally started buying the ones for "stong chewers" which probably typically means their meant for a pit bull or something. Sweet little Maggie. Jaws of steel.
ReplyDeleteI've missed your blogs. Thanks for writing. You forgot to mention the bag and onion buns and M&Ms from yesterday. Probably needed the bread to absorb the pepper spray.
