That aluminum foil boxes have little tabs on the side that you can poke in and they will keep your roll from flying out when you pull on it? I did not know this interesting little fact until Seth's cousin Sherry emailed me. I may totally be showing my kitchen ignorance, but I thought I should share this interesting tidbit of info. Saran wrap boxes come with the same feature! AMAZING!
Well, Seth and I had a pretty lazy weekend! The kind I really enjoy now days! Especially since I start the week off by counting down how many days until the next weekend. Don't get me wrong I like my job, but it is extremely hectic and time consuming, so I am usually fried by Friday!
Let see what else is going on...
I went to eat with my good friend Katy Grindstaff last week (she is about a month ahead of me) and it was really fun catching up and exchanging pregnancy stories. She looks so cute and I just know little Addalee will be precious!
I am pretty sure I felt Reese moving around in my stomach - at least I think I did. It is really hard to tell. Seth and I laid there for hours trying to feel it again and we couldn't. I think that I am still at the stage where I can feel all of her major moments, but Seth still can't. Everyone says that will change over the next few weeks.
Just in case you were wondering, and I know you were, I am still pretty nauseous! Poor Seth has been keeping grocery sacks in the car just in case. Nothing more appetizing than ordering food from Sonic with some pregnant lady puking it up in the background. Nice. I am sure the people at my office who don't know I am pregnant think I have a serious eating disorder - I will just be typing along in my office and then boom it hits me. It wouldn't be that bad - except I have an all glass door, so they get quite a show. Me sitting at my desk gagging and flailing my arms about, as if that is going thrawrt the ensuing throw up. Oh well!

Katie, you are hilarious. I'm so sorry about your regurgitation issues but I have to admit your description gave me a good laugh this morning. That WILL get better at least by the time Reese gets here if not sooner.
ReplyDeleteWe can compare throw up stories... once, when pregnant with Elena, I threw up right next to a dead bird. Then I cried - even though the throwing up and the demise of the bird were totally unrelated!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered the tabs on the foil box about a month ago! Crazy!

KATIE!! I am so excited for you and Seth!! I remember when Paula was getting married and you said if you ever had a baby you wanted to name it Reece!! Aunt Pauline would be so proud!! We love ya'll and miss ya'll!! Cynthia (YAYA OREO!)
ReplyDeleteI was wondering your current state of nausea!! Love the glass-door-in-the-office story, haha. Hang in there, Katie!!
