Last night we went to an engagement party/fiesta for our friends Billy and Brooke - it was a lot of fun! We had a great time catching up with everyone and it was exciting to see all of the old Conroe ladies! The party was at the Jackson's beautiful house and they really know how to throw a party - great food, good drinks (or so I observed, I stuck to water and coke) and wonderful friends. It made me even more excited for little Reese because I just know she will have the great friends I have, I have known most of those ladies since I was in elementary so we go WAY back!!
Saturday morning Jetty was a little sick, so Seth decided to take him to the vet. He has this weird thing where he will just be sitting there and boom - he throws up! Usually it is a random event, but he did it 5 times over Friday and Saturday morning, so Seth thought we should get to the vet. The vet thinks Jet may have an ulcer! She prescribed lots of medicine and even a prescription dog food for a couple of days. AND...you won't believe it, she said we need to make sure he has a very stress free life - What!! I wish I had this dogs life! Seth and I were laughing so hard when we heard that! Oh well, he seems a little better, but I think he is still a little sick.
Here are just a few things that I LOVE about being pregnant ~
*** You really have no choice but to go to a salon and get pedicures, the belly really makes it hard to reach your toes! Nice perk!
*** People feel the need to always comment on how cute you look - that can really make you feel good, even if you know you do not look so good!
*** You can eat pasta for every meal and not feel guilty!
*** Your husband begs you to buy some new clothes!!! Woo Hoo!!
*** If you need to stop and take a break, no one has any issues. In fact sometimes people will be like don't you need to stop and rest?
*** You get to make all of the food choices! Especially if you are going out to eat!
*** No one will say anything if you wear flip flops to a formal event! I mean come on, your feet can get really swollen!
P.S. Having such a wonderful husband makes this even more fun! He patiently listens to all of my insane stories and worries!

My friend Reesa says the reason Jet has ulcers is because you make him dress up in those crazy costumes. I think the picture you have of him in your collage supports her theory.
