Last night we packed up the car and headed to Reese's first Christmas party at my Uncle Rick and Aunt Pam's. It was really fun getting to show off Reese and to get out of the house for awhile. The food was great and Pam always decorates her house really great for Christmas - she even has Christmas themed shower curtains! Too cute! On a side note - packing the car was hilarious! We had so much stuff, diaper bag, pump bag, my purse (which is basically classified as a suitcase) we were so stuffed in there!
Seth and I are doing really great! We have worked out a pretty good system for the night time. Reese is just a doll and not giving us too hard of a time! Her favorite activities are sleeping on Daddy's chest, snuggling with Mom, falling asleep while feeding, and being precious! The only time she gets really upset is when you change her diaper - she goes peaceful to high pitched screeching in 3 seconds - for real we timed it!
As we approach Christmas next week please keep our friends the Bergfeld's in your prayers. They recently lost their son and brother Chase in a boating accident. I have known the Bergfeld's for years and can only think of wonderful things to say about this amazing family. Please continue to pray for them and keep them in your thoughts. ReplyDeleteshe IS PRECIOUS!!! And I'm so impressed that you have it together enough to venture OUT already!? Gosh, you're way ahead of the game! I loved the party about packing for an army... I so remember the days. I still feel like the car is packed full even to go shopping!
ReplyDeleteTry the black & white cards by her changing table when you're changing diapers... it changed everything for us with Jagger! he LOVED them. He would turn his little bitty head and look for them the second we laid him down to change him!
