Miss Reese Olivia Clymer has finally arrived! We are so happy and can not stop smiling. Baby, Mommy, and Daddy are all doing great at home. I went into labor around 4:30 Sunday morning. We headed to hospital around 11:30 that afternoon. Although the contractions were close, 5 minutes apart, they debated whether or not to send me home because I was only 3 centimeters dilated. There was no way I was leaving that hospital!! Anyways, I had to walk around the hospital for an hour to help me dilate more. It worked, so they admitted me and we got settled into our room. I started pushing around 7 pm and we tried that for about and hour and half and then the doctor said that it would probably be best to do a c-section because Reese was turned sunny side up (babies should be born with their faces facing down, Reese was facing up). So we headed to the OR, once there they were having problems numbing my right side so they had to put me completely under. No fun! I was really upset that I wouldn't be awake and that Seth could not be int he room, he had to wait in a little hallway outside the room. Reese arrived at 9:45 pm. They brought her out for Seth to see her and she already had her eyes open for him. Too cute! It was love at first sight. Once I woke up Seth brought her to me and I was in love immediately. She is so cute! She definitely has her Dad's skin color, thank the heavens! And she has brown hair, I was so surprised! I will keep updating pictures, but here are a few that I could not resist sharing.
We are at home now and doing great!
