rivers, horseshoe bay, neana and steve’s house – post 1

this past week seth and i packed reesey and what feels like half of our house into the truck and went on a road trip! we headed over to san marcos for a little shopping at the outlet mall – LOVE IT! then we headed up to austin for the night. on tuesday we skipped on over to the perdanales and the guadalupe rivers. reese loved splashing in the clear water. we had a few firsts on this trip – reese fell off the bed while in AUSTIN – yes I FREAKED OUT! but after a quick call to the doctor we were all good – reese was okay as soon as i whipped out a toy – me on the other hand not so much! another firsts – reese tried to eat river rocks! i think she is teething so this probably felt pretty good – gross but good.

tuesday night we headed up to horseshoe bay – seth and i were married there – we love it! it was wonderful! the pools are great for babies – they have huge beach entrances, so reese had plenty of room to play.

late Wednesday we headed up to visit neana and steve (seth’s parents). they were really excited to see reese and she was really excited to see them and their dog eme. unfortunately reese was OBCESSED with eme’s long hair and we spent most of the week separating the two. we hung around their house and spent time in the pool. another first, reese went swinging and LOVED it. i will post more pictures soon.
