What a day!

Well, today I had one of those days.

It started off pretty good – I actually made it out of the house on time!  Jet had a 9 am vet appointment, so my plan was to take Reese over to my Moms before the appointment and then I would pick her up around noon {after I went home and did a power clean on our insanely messy house!}  My plan was to run through taco cabana and grab a quick bite, but of course the line was insane.  So i headed to my Moms.  When I opened the back door to get Reese out of the car I almost lost it – she had thrown up all over herself!  Sweet baby had not even made a peep.  I have no idea how long she had been like that!  I immediately went into freak out mode {did I mention Reese has NEVER thrown up}, I ran inside and yelled for my Mom – who ran outside with no shoes on.  We got Reese out of the car and gave her a bath in the sink.  She seemed fine, a little puny, but okay.  So I decided I would go ahead and run jet to the vet and then head back to my moms.    Well, this is where it gets comedic.  When I walked Jet up to the door at the vets office he wiggled his way out of his collar and took off!  He was running around in traffic, almost got hit by a car!  I dropped all my stuff {by drop I mean gently placed my dr pepper can on the sidewalk :)}and took off after him – soon the staff of the vet office was helping me!  Finally I was able to get him to jump in the back of my car.  After putting his collar on EXTRA tight I had to CARRY him into the office.    Once in the office he went INSANE!  They had to put a muzzle on him – Jet, aggressive???I mean seriously this dog barely even chews his food, he licks it!  Then he proceeded to use the vets office as a personal potty zone!  It was crazy!  I was so EMBARRASSED!  Thankfully he settled down once we got home. CRAZY!

back to Reesey…well she is still pretty puny.  She was for sure feeling better after pedialite and dinner {ramen noodles – i know!  but the girl loves them so I figured I would let her eat them today}.  she has not had much of an appetite the past few days so I knew something was up.  poor little lady has just been going from Gigi’s lap to my lap, to Seth’s lap.  She just wanted to cuddle.  So sad when they are so little and sick.  I am hoping tomorrow will be better for her, she was giggling and playing before bed so I think we are on the upside!

I am currently attempting to wash her car seat - wish me luck!
