Noggin Size Pancakes

Well, this past week Seth and I took a quick little road trip around Texas. First, we went to Horseshoe Bay. We stayed at the same resort where we were married! It was wonderful! We just sat at the beach (lake) area and then we finished that off by sitting in the pool! It was the best - Seth is sooo sweet! He knew that I was ready for a vaca and picked the best spot! While we were there we ate at a famous little cafe called the Bluebonnet Cafe. I ordered pancakes for breakfast and the one that they brought me was BIGGER than my head! Even though I have my appetite back there is NO WAY I could eat all that. Well, I guess I shouldn't say NO WaY - because I will probably be eating more than that in a couple of weeks!

After Horseshoe Bay we headed up to visit Seth's Mom's. Paula (she hasn't decided on a name that she would like for Reese to call her, although I know for sure that Grandma is out!) has the cutest dog, Eme! She is a papillion and is hilarious. We just sat and watched her for hours on the golf course. Paula and Mark(Seth's step dad) were so sweet - they bought us a crib! I can't wait for it to come in. I also got to do a little furniture shopping while we were up there - they just moved into a new house (looks like it is straight out of Architectural Digest!) and they finally cleaned out their storage rooms so I loaded up on stuff! Too fun!

I have some very exciting news to share - my best friend, Ashley Brady Mason is pregnant with a baby GIRL!!! Can you believe it?? Her little one and Reese will only be about 2 months apart! Too fun! We have been friends since the 2nd grade and were even roommates in college. She swore me to secrecy a couple of weeks ago - man it is hard to keep a secret like that, but I did! I have really matured! We always have fun when we are together and laugh till our bellies hurts! I can't wait to share all of our pregnancy and parenting experiences together!

Well, Wendy and Doug officially have a crawler on their hands! HA! Lily is so smart! Wendy said she went straight to stairs...haha! Her personality is really starting to come through now and it is so funny to watch! I feel so blessed to have such a special little niece :) She really melts your heart. I will try to update some pics of her soon.
